As the holidays come around, some of the hardest people to buy things for are your friends who are doctors, nurses, medical assistants, and other women in the healthcare field.
Here are some ideas for gifts that they will love.
For use at work:
Stethoscope
- Some of you may say, why would my cardiologist friend need another stethoscope? Well, fun fact, we have stethoscopes but we also lose them a lot because we are running around the hospital. No one will ever regret having at least 1 spare.
2. New personalized scrubs
A lot of us are constantly in scrubs during the day. I wear scrubs any day I MAY be called into a case, which means I can never have enough of them. Comfy scrubs that have their name on them? Love it over here.
3. Clogs but better
I used to wear sneakers to work, but fun fact, blood does not come out of them easily or well. Enter clogs. I wipe these bad boys off every so often and leave them at work.
4. Goggles/ Lead glasses
Again, a lot of exposures at work, won’t regret getting a new pair of these. For the ones who are constantly exposed to radiation, I have included some lead glasses 🙂
5. Scrub Caps/Headbands
My personal favorites I have included below and for some people who want to add a little pizzaz to the bouffants from the hospital, there are also these cute headbands.
For Relaxation/Home
- Candles
Something about making your entire home smell good really does well to destress. There are some really nice inexpensive ones that I get regularly from Target.
2. Shower bombs
For the same people who love the aromatherapy vibes I’m giving.
3. Journals/Pens
I love journals and have found that journaling is a great way to mitigate burnout. Some ideas- giving a nice journal without some pens or give some less expensive journals with pens.
4. Three minute makeup kit
Something for your friends who have to deal with the overnight call and having to do grand rounds in the morning. I personally love TLB’s set and use it all the time.
I am not an affiliate of any of these brands and I get no commissions. These are literally things I just love that I would personally give to my own friends.
Hope this helps you as you shop for Christmas gifts! Merry Christmas
Love you guys,
Lise
